At the moment, MOS 2.0 mainly shows general updates regarding the case, while full communication with the immigration inspector is still limited. Many foreigners expect the platform to be further developed and improved in the coming years to become a complete system for monitoring residence permit proceedings in Poland.
eDoręczenia — The New Communication System with the Immigration Office
Another major change introduced in 2026 is the gradual replacement of traditional paper correspondence with the eDoręczenia system.
Previously, most foreigners received wezwania, decisions, and official letters from the immigration office by regular post. Poland is now gradually moving toward digital communication between public institutions and foreigners.
In practice, this means that more and more information regarding residence permit cases will be delivered through eDoręczenia rather than in paper form. For this reason, foreigners should regularly check their electronic notifications and monitor communication regarding their case online.

Main Stages of a Residence Permit Case in Poland

Złożenie wniosku — the application has been accepted and registered in the system.
