The duration of a foreigner’s legal stay in Poland depends on the basis of their stay: under the visa-free regime — up to 90 days within a 180-day period; under a national D-type visa — for the period of its validity; and under a residence card — depending on the period stated on the card (usually from 1 to 3 years).
