ONE PLUS helps foreigners in Poland with formalities that sit alongside a residence card but are not limited to a single office filing. This section covers consultations, PIT tax filing, insurance for a residence card, PESEL, address registration, marriage in Poland, Karta Polaka support and the 800+ benefit. We review your case, prepare documents and handle the process through to a result.
Clients come to us when several administrative tasks must be closed at once: confirm an address, file PIT, arrange insurance for a stay application or prepare family paperwork. ONE PLUS works in Wrocław in person and remotely across Poland. At the start we clarify your goal, deadlines and what you already have on hand.
This is not a bare list of links. We explain which service you actually need now, what can wait and how to avoid mixing different procedures. If you also need a work permit or a residence-card update, we map the order of steps so one task does not block another.

Who needs these ONE PLUS services
The section is for people who already live, study or work in Poland and want to close formalities without chaos. We most often help when:
- you need a clear case review before the next filing;
- you earn income in Poland and must file or check a PIT return;
- your stay application requires insurance the office will accept;
- you need PESEL, address registration or marriage documents;
- you are looking into Karta Polaka support or the 800+ benefit;
- you already hold a residence card but still lack registration, PESEL or updated papers for your bank and employer.
If you are new to Poland
Start with an individual consultation. It is the easiest way to avoid mixing procedures or filing the wrong application. We explain what to do now and what can wait until a stay decision.
If you already have work, family or a residence card
Then we usually connect neighbouring tasks: PIT, address registration, insurance, document updates and benefits. We build one route instead of scattered office visits.
Which formalities we handle most often
Below are the main groups. Scope, documents and how to start each service are in the cards above on this page.
Taxes and insurance
Foreigners with income in Poland must report under PIT rules. We help with PIT tax filing: checking figures, allowances and deadlines. Separately we arrange insurance for a residence card that the voivodeship office will accept with a temporary or permanent stay application. The wrong policy is a common reason for a formal request or delay.
PESEL and address registration
Without a PESEL number it is hard to open a bank account, sign an employment contract, enrol a child in school or use some public services. Address registration confirms where you live and is often needed alongside PESEL, for a stay filing or family benefits. We prepare the file and check that the address matches across documents.
Family, Karta Polaka and 800+
For family formalities we support marriage in Poland: document lists, translations and registry timelines. We also handle Karta Polaka support and the 800+ benefit: we verify eligibility, prepare the application and explain which income proofs the authority will ask for.
Advice and case review
If you are unsure where to start, an individual consultation gives a clear plan: which procedure applies, which documents to collect first and which timelines are realistic. This helps when stay, work, tax and address questions overlap.
How we work
- We clarify your goal, deadlines and documents already on hand.
- We name the procedure you actually need, with no forced package.
- You get a plan: our part, your part and realistic waiting times.
- Where needed, we line up several services in one calm route.
- We stay with the case and explain the next step.
We do not promise office timelines nobody can guarantee. We do show where delays usually happen and what depends on you directly.
Which documents are usually required
The set depends on the service, but in practice clients most often need:
- a passport and copies of pages with data, visas or entry stamps;
- a rental contract or other proof of address for registration;
- a PESEL number or grounds to obtain one;
- income certificates, employer PIT-11 forms or data for a self-filed PIT return;
- an insurance policy with parameters accepted for a stay application;
- civil-status records, translations and apostilles for marriage, Karta Polaka or 800+;
- stay decisions or residence cards when the formality is linked to your status.
At a consultation we compare your file with the authority requirements and list what is missing and what you can prepare early.
Common mistakes foreigners make
- they mix up the order of PESEL, address registration and a stay application;
- they buy insurance the office will not accept for a residence card;
- they file PIT with wrong income codes or after the deadline without knowing the impact;
- they apply for 800+ or Karta Polaka without checking eligibility or translations;
- they use different addresses in the lease, bank and office records;
- they start an expensive procedure when a consultation and a correct file would be enough.
We check these risks upfront and adjust the route so you do not redo documents a month later.
What can be done remotely
Most preparation is remote: case review, document checks, PIT calculation, insurance selection, draft applications and status updates. ONE PLUS is based in Wrocław, but clients in Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk, Poznań and other cities work with us online.
An in-person visit is required only where the authority demands it: for some PESEL steps, address registration or submitting originals. We say upfront what is online and where your presence is mandatory.
How to start
Choose a service in the cards above or write to ONE PLUS contact. Briefly describe your situation: stay status, city, deadlines and what you already tried. We will reply with a sensible first step and how long preparation should take.
If you have several tasks, the first consultation builds one plan: what we close now, what waits for a residence decision and which documents you can prepare in parallel.
