• for the next nine months the amount is often calculated as 60% of the previous-period sum;
• children receive a lower amount based on the family calculation.

Formal review may take about a month, but practice depends on the region. If a voivodeship has already accepted applications close to about 75% of its allocated limit, new reviews can be suspended. Waiting can stretch much longer when next-year budget rules intervene.

That is not a reason to delay filing. It is a reason to plan finances honestly and avoid building every expense on “fast” support.
