How to collect the residence card plastic in Wrocław

Since November 27, 2023, the Voivodeship Office in Wrocław has implemented a new electronic appointment system for collecting the physical residence card. Thanks to this solution, the process has become more transparent, convenient, and faster — now, to collect your card, you simply need to register through a dedicated online platform:

https://kartypobytu.duw.pl

What is this system?

This is a modern digital platform designed for booking an appointment at the Voivodeship Office solely for the purpose of collecting an already issued residence card. It is available only to foreigners who have previously received an official notification that their card is ready. This is a separate system, not connected to appointments for document submission or fingerprint collection.

Step 1: Registration via the website

The main page of the new service displays an online registration form. To complete it correctly and confirm your appointment, you need to provide the following information:

  • Name (Imię)
  • Last name (Nazwisko)
  • Birthday (Data urodzenia)
  • E-mail (Adres e-mail)
  • Case number (РІО – numer sprawy)
  • The last 4 digits of the passport (Weryfikacja – 4 ostatnie cyfry z paszportu)
  • Choice of card collection location: Wrocław or Legnica

After submitting the data, the system will automatically generate the application and send a notification to the provided email.

Step 2: Receiving the invitation

Within a few days after submitting the form, you will receive an email with confirmation and information about the date, time of your appointment, as well as your individual ticket number. This is important: there is no need to take a ticket from the machine anymore — everything will be sent in advance. Your number (e.g., D123) and the corresponding service window information will be displayed on the electronic screen at the Voivodeship Office.

Step 3: Visiting the Voivodeship Office

On the scheduled day, you must arrive at the Voivodeship Office building at least 10-15 minutes before the appointment time and bring the following:

  • The current foreign passport (the one used when submitting the documents)
  • Confirmation of payment for the production of the payment card
  • The previous card was used (if it was issued earlier)

On-site, you wait to be called by your ticket number, proceed to the indicated window, and receive your residence card.

Important Notes

  • This website is intended solely for collecting the physical residence card! It is not meant for submitting applications, fingerprinting, or other procedures.
  • If you received an invitation to collect your card in the evening or on a Saturday (formats ODBIÓR KARTY – WIECZORY or ODBIÓR KARTY POBYTU – SOBOTY FAMI), please use the previous platform:

Congratulations! If you’ve reached this stage, you’ve completed almost the entire legalization process. All that’s left is to collect your residence card and officially confirm your legal stay in Poland. We wish you long-term permits, smooth integration, and a successful life in the country!
