Other ONE PLUS services

ONE PLUS helps foreigners in Poland with services beyond a residence card: we review your case, prepare documents and handle the process. In Wrocław and remotely.

ONE PLUS helps foreigners in Poland with formalities that sit alongside a residence card but are not limited to a single office filing. This section covers consultations, PIT tax filing, insurance for a residence card, PESEL, address registration, marriage in Poland, Karta Polaka support and the 800+ benefit. We review your case, prepare documents and handle the process through to a result.

Clients come to us when several administrative tasks must be closed at once: confirm an address, file PIT, arrange insurance for a stay application or prepare family paperwork. ONE PLUS works in Wrocław in person and remotely across Poland. At the start we clarify your goal, deadlines and what you already have on hand.

This is not a bare list of links. We explain which service you actually need now, what can wait and how to avoid mixing different procedures. If you also need a work permit or a residence-card update, we map the order of steps so one task does not block another.

Who needs these ONE PLUS services

The section is for people who already live, study or work in Poland and want to close formalities without chaos. We most often help when:

  • you need a clear case review before the next filing;
  • you earn income in Poland and must file or check a PIT return;
  • your stay application requires insurance the office will accept;
  • you need PESEL, address registration or marriage documents;
  • you are looking into Karta Polaka support or the 800+ benefit;
  • you already hold a residence card but still lack registration, PESEL or updated papers for your bank and employer.

If you are new to Poland

Start with an individual consultation. It is the easiest way to avoid mixing procedures or filing the wrong application. We explain what to do now and what can wait until a stay decision.

If you already have work, family or a residence card

Then we usually connect neighbouring tasks: PIT, address registration, insurance, document updates and benefits. We build one route instead of scattered office visits.

Which formalities we handle most often

Below are the main groups. Scope, documents and how to start each service are in the cards above on this page.

Taxes and insurance

Foreigners with income in Poland must report under PIT rules. We help with PIT tax filing: checking figures, allowances and deadlines. Separately we arrange insurance for a residence card that the voivodeship office will accept with a temporary or permanent stay application. The wrong policy is a common reason for a formal request or delay.

PESEL and address registration

Without a PESEL number it is hard to open a bank account, sign an employment contract, enrol a child in school or use some public services. Address registration confirms where you live and is often needed alongside PESEL, for a stay filing or family benefits. We prepare the file and check that the address matches across documents.

Family, Karta Polaka and 800+

For family formalities we support marriage in Poland: document lists, translations and registry timelines. We also handle Karta Polaka support and the 800+ benefit: we verify eligibility, prepare the application and explain which income proofs the authority will ask for.

Advice and case review

If you are unsure where to start, an individual consultation gives a clear plan: which procedure applies, which documents to collect first and which timelines are realistic. This helps when stay, work, tax and address questions overlap.

How we work

  1. We clarify your goal, deadlines and documents already on hand.
  2. We name the procedure you actually need, with no forced package.
  3. You get a plan: our part, your part and realistic waiting times.
  4. Where needed, we line up several services in one calm route.
  5. We stay with the case and explain the next step.

We do not promise office timelines nobody can guarantee. We do show where delays usually happen and what depends on you directly.

Which documents are usually required

The set depends on the service, but in practice clients most often need:

  • a passport and copies of pages with data, visas or entry stamps;
  • a rental contract or other proof of address for registration;
  • a PESEL number or grounds to obtain one;
  • income certificates, employer PIT-11 forms or data for a self-filed PIT return;
  • an insurance policy with parameters accepted for a stay application;
  • civil-status records, translations and apostilles for marriage, Karta Polaka or 800+;
  • stay decisions or residence cards when the formality is linked to your status.

At a consultation we compare your file with the authority requirements and list what is missing and what you can prepare early.

Common mistakes foreigners make

  • they mix up the order of PESEL, address registration and a stay application;
  • they buy insurance the office will not accept for a residence card;
  • they file PIT with wrong income codes or after the deadline without knowing the impact;
  • they apply for 800+ or Karta Polaka without checking eligibility or translations;
  • they use different addresses in the lease, bank and office records;
  • they start an expensive procedure when a consultation and a correct file would be enough.

We check these risks upfront and adjust the route so you do not redo documents a month later.

What can be done remotely

Most preparation is remote: case review, document checks, PIT calculation, insurance selection, draft applications and status updates. ONE PLUS is based in Wrocław, but clients in Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk, Poznań and other cities work with us online.

An in-person visit is required only where the authority demands it: for some PESEL steps, address registration or submitting originals. We say upfront what is online and where your presence is mandatory.

How to start

Choose a service in the cards above or write to ONE PLUS contact. Briefly describe your situation: stay status, city, deadlines and what you already tried. We will reply with a sensible first step and how long preparation should take.

If you have several tasks, the first consultation builds one plan: what we close now, what waits for a residence decision and which documents you can prepare in parallel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions – simple answers for unclear situations
What extra services for foreigners does ONE PLUS offer?

In the Other Services section, ONE PLUS helps foreigners with formalities that often sit alongside a residence card but are not limited to one application: individual consultations, PIT tax filing, residence-card insurance, PESEL, address registration, marriage in Poland, Karta Polaka support and the 800+ benefit.

Each service has its own scope, documents and deadlines. We do not sell a bundle for the sake of a bundle: on a consultation we review your situation and say what you need now and what can wait until a decision on stay.

Most cases are handled remotely across Poland; ONE PLUS is based in Wrocław. We work in English, Russian, Ukrainian and Polish. The full scope of each service, document list and submission order is shown in the cards on the page.

Where should I start if I am not sure which service I need?

Start with an individual consultation at ONE PLUS. In one conversation we review your goal, timing and documents you already have, then say which formality you actually need right now.

Foreigners often mix several procedures: PESEL, address registration, PIT, insurance and a stay application. A consultation helps set the order of steps so one task does not block another and you do not submit the same papers twice.

After the review you get a clear plan: what we handle, what we need from you, realistic deadlines and which office to visit first. If you also need a residence card or work permit, we show how to link those cases from the start.

The consultation can be done remotely anywhere in Poland. A visit to Wrocław is required only where a specific procedure or office demands personal attendance.

Can I combine PESEL, address registration and residence-card documents?

Yes, and that is how most people handle it in practice. PESEL, address registration and residence-card papers are often linked: without a number it is hard to confirm an address, and without an address the office may request additions to your stay file.

ONE PLUS builds one plan so you do not duplicate documents and visits. We check that the address on your lease, PESEL application, registration record and stay file matches. Mismatches often cause delays.

The order of steps depends on your status: sometimes PESEL comes first, sometimes address registration, sometimes insurance and tax certificates can be prepared in parallel. On a consultation we explain what applies in your case and what deadlines to plan for.

Are these services available remotely or only in Wrocław?

ONE PLUS handles most services remotely across Poland. The company is based in Wrocław, but for consultations, PIT, document preparation, insurance and many other formalities a personal visit is not required.

Some procedures need you on site where the office requires attendance: parts of PESEL cases, address registration, marriage or filing at a voivodeship office. We say in advance what can be done online and where originals, a notary or your presence will be needed.

We accept documents electronically and prepare drafts, translations and letters. If you must appear in Wrocław or another city, we explain what to bring and how to prepare so you do not have to redo the file halfway through.

Do I need Polish to work with ONE PLUS?

No, Polish is not required to communicate with ONE PLUS. We work in English, Russian, Ukrainian and Polish and explain office requirements in plain language without unnecessary bureaucratic jargon.

The procedure itself may still require documents or forms in Polish: PIT, address registration, insurance, marriage, benefits. We prepare texts, check translations and say where a sworn translator or notarial certification is needed.

Personal attendance at an office is not always required. It depends on the service, your status and the practice of the specific voivodeship office or municipality. On a consultation we tell you immediately whether the process can run remotely or where your visit will be needed.

Can you link these services with a residence card or work permit?

Yes, that is one of the most common tasks at ONE PLUS. Extra formalities often run in parallel with a residence card, work permit or status extension, and they must not be confused in terms of deadlines and documents.

A stay application may require insurance with specific parameters, a confirmed address, PESEL or income proof for PIT. An employer may wait for PESEL and address registration while a bank asks for the same data separately.

We set the order of steps: what to finish before filing, what can run in parallel and what is better postponed until a stay decision. That way you do not lose time or submit the same bundle to different offices.

Do you help foreigners with PIT in Poland?

Yes, ONE PLUS helps foreigners with PIT tax filing in Poland: check the figures, account for employer income, foreign income, allowances and declaration deadlines.

PIT does not work the same for everyone: it depends on income source, tax residence, your contract with the employer and whether you worked in Poland for a partial year. Errors in a declaration can lead to extra tax, a penalty or problems when extending a residence card if the office requests income proof.

We review your PIT-11 forms, contracts and bank statements, prepare the calculation and explain what you can file yourself through e-office Skarbowy and where it is safer to hand preparation to a specialist. The consultation and calculation can start remotely once you send documents electronically.

What insurance is needed for a residence card application?

A residence card application requires a policy that meets office requirements: medical coverage in Poland, a valid period and a sum suitable for reviewing a temporary or permanent stay application.

A tourist policy or insurance without the right parameters will not suffice: an inspector may request a replacement and that will delay the case. ONE PLUS selects insurance for your application type and expected review period so the policy is accepted on filing.

If you already have insurance through work or NFZ, we check whether it is enough for the office. If not, we arrange a separate policy. The whole process can start remotely: passport data, address and information about your stay type are enough to begin.

What is the difference between PESEL UKR and a regular PESEL?

PESEL UKR is a number issued to Ukrainian citizens under a procedure linked to temporary protection. A regular PESEL is issued to other foreigners under general rules, most often through a municipality or city office.

Both numbers have 11 digits, but the legal basis, filing route and effect on other formalities differ. PESEL UKR does not automatically replace address registration, a residence card or the right to work: those are separate procedures.

ONE PLUS helps you understand which number you need, where to file documents and what comes next: address registration, insurance, PIT, benefits or a stay application. On a consultation we check your status and warn if you are mixing two different procedures.

What documents are needed for marriage in Poland?

Marriage for a foreigner in Poland usually requires a valid passport, birth records, a document on civil status, a certificate of no impediment from a consulate or home country, sworn translations and sometimes an apostille.

The exact list depends on citizenship, any previous marriage and the civil registry office where you apply. ONE PLUS assembles the file in advance, checks expiry dates on certificates and prepares translations so you do not get refused over a formal error.

Marriage in Poland is often linked to other formalities: name change, address registration, PESEL, a family reunification residence card, the 800+ benefit. We show the order of steps after registration so you do not redo documents twice.

Do you help with the 800+ benefit and Karta Polaka?

Yes, ONE PLUS helps with 800+ benefit applications and preparing materials for Karta Polaka. These are different procedures with different offices, deadlines and legal grounds, and they should not be filed blindly.

For 800+ we check eligibility for the family benefit, household composition, income, children’s PESEL numbers and address registration. For Karta Polaka we review grounds, documents on Polish origin, translations and the filing route at a consulate or voivodeship office.

We do not promise a positive decision: the office makes that call. We prepare the file, explain typical refusal reasons and help you keep these procedures separate from a residence card or PIT. You can start with a consultation and document list; most work is done remotely.

What documents do I need to start working with ONE PLUS?

To start, briefly describe your situation and send what you already have: passport, residence card or visa, lease, PESEL, letters from the office, income certificates or an insurance policy. A full file is not needed on day one.

At the first consultation ONE PLUS defines the goal, deadlines and missing documents. For PIT we ask for PIT-11 and income data; for insurance: passport and stay application type; for address registration: lease and landlord consent.

We accept scans or photos through an agreed channel. If something is missing, we explain how to obtain a certificate from the voivodeship office, tax office or civil registry. After the review you get a work plan and a clear picture of what runs remotely and where your visit will be needed.
