A company address without renting a full office
When a foreigner registers a JDG or an Sp. z o.o., the register needs a clear business address. Renting a separate office from month one is often expensive and unnecessary, especially for remote work, partner warehouses or on-site client projects. A virtual office solves that specific need: a legal address for registration and correspondence without a full lease.

We explain when a virtual office is appropriate and when it creates risk for the bank, the tax office, the voivodeship office and for address registration.
Legal caution first: a virtual office is a business and mail address. It is not a tool for fake residential registration or for bypassing domicile rules. Address registration (zameldowanie) is about where a person actually lives. Mixing these concepts is legally unsafe and usually surfaces during checks.
The information below is general. Requirements depend on the business form, PKD codes, the bank and the region. Final decisions rest with public authorities and counterparties.
What the service usually includes
Legal / registered address
The address can be listed as the place of business activity or as the correspondence address in CEIDG or in company data in the National Court Register. For many remote models that is enough at the start. If the activity needs a real premises, licence or warehouse, a virtual address alone is not enough. It then complements operations rather than replacing them.
Mail intake and handling
Letters from the tax office, ZUS, courts, banks and clients must not disappear. A virtual office receives correspondence, logs it and forwards it: scan, photo or physical reshipment under agreed rules. For a foreigner who travels often, this matters: a missed reply deadline costs more than any rent saved.
Contract and address confirmation
Registers, banks and accountants need a contract for use of the address. Without it, the entry looks empty. We prepare the pack so that contract data, CEIDG/KRS details and bookkeeping stay aligned.
Optional add-ons may include basic secretariat support or hourly meeting rooms. Useful for some clients, unnecessary for others.
Who it fits, and who it does not
When a virtual office makes sense
- launching a JDG in IT, consulting, marketing or online services;
- registering an Sp. z o.o. without a dedicated office at the start;
- establishing presence in Poland while working from another city or country;
- needing a stable mail address for a mobile business model;
- preparing for a business bank account when the bank asks for the company address.
When one address is not enough
If you open a café, warehouse, salon, transport base or a licensed activity, authorities look at the real place of work. A virtual office may remain a correspondence address, but an operational address is still required.
Separate red line: using an office address as fake residence registration. ONE PLUS does not support schemes that substitute a business address for domicile. Proper address registration must follow the real housing address, with a lease and owner consent where required.
Virtual office with JDG and Sp. z o.o.
JDG
In CEIDG you state a correspondence address and, where needed, a permanent place of business. For some PKD codes a home address works. If home is unsuitable or mail handling is awkward, a virtual office is often the practical route. biznes.gov.pl is a useful official guide for entrepreneurs, but it does not replace a review of your PKD codes and residence status.
Sp. z o.o.
A company also needs a registered address. Many founders start with a virtual office while preparing a business plan, a business account and bookkeeping. If a residence permit based on business is planned later, the office assesses real activity, not only a neat address line.
Dmytro, ONE PLUS specialist in business strategy, notes: “The address must belong to a working company model. If the register shows one address, mail is lost and activity is undocumented, the bank and the office ask the same uncomfortable questions.”
What a virtual office is not
Not a substitute for residential registration
Residential registration records where a person lives. A virtual office serves the business. Do not mix them. Using an office address as a fictitious place of residence risks refusal, penalties and later problems with PESEL, residence permits, banks and benefits.
Not proof of business by itself
An address does not replace contracts, invoices, ZUS, taxes and real work. If the company exists only on paper, no legal address will save it.
Not a licence and not a work permit
Licences, concessions and work permits are separate procedures. An address does not replace them.
How the ONE PLUS process works

We do not promise that every bank will accept every address without questions. We assemble the file early so empty or conflicting data are less likely to cause refusal.
Common mistakes by foreigners
Mixing company address and home address
The residence application, the flat lease and CEIDG show three different addresses with no logic. Requests and delays follow.
Choosing a cheap address with no mail handling
The address sits in the register, but nobody processes letters. A missed tax or court deadline costs more than the “saving”.
Hiding licensed activity
A virtual address is listed where a real site is required. That risks both the business and later legalisation.
Ignoring bookkeeping and the bank account
Without clear records and a business account, the address looks decorative. This becomes obvious when a business plan is prepared for a residence case.
Looking for an address “for friends’ registration”
That is a red flag. ONE PLUS does not run such schemes. Lawful address registration is done at a real home.
