Frequently Asked Questions
ONE PLUS is a professional consulting agency offering comprehensive legal solutions for foreigners and businesses in Poland. We support our clients at every stage — from legalizing their stay and establishing companies to obtaining the necessary documentation and integrating into the Polish system.
For more complex matters, we cooperate with licensed Polish attorneys, notaries, and tax advisors, ensuring full and reliable legal
Our key differentiator lies in over 10 years of hands-on experience in the fields of legalization, employment, and business operations in Poland. Our experts, all of whom hold Polish legal education, have been trained by instructors affiliated with institutions such as the Border Guard (Straż Graniczna), Tax Office (Urząd Skarbowy), Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office (Dolnośląski Urząd Wojewódzki), and the National Labour Inspectorate (Państwowa Inspekcja Pracy). This allows us to understand internal procedures and consider critical details that may significantly influence the processing time and the issuance of a positive decision.
Moreover, we have been an officially registered company for over 7 years. We ensure full confidentiality of your documents, strictly comply with GDPR (RODO) requirements, and maintain the highest standards of service. Our solutions are designed to effectively address key issues, creating a positive impact for both foreigners and businesses operating in Poland.
We operate strictly within the framework of Polish law. All documents are officially submitted to the relevant government authorities, and the client receives original decisions, residence permits, and other official confirmations issued by the respective institutions.
Everything depends on the type of service you request and the specific objective you wish to achieve.
If your goal is the legalization of temporary or permanent residence, you will receive the corresponding residence permit — either a temporary residence card (valid for up to 3 years) or a permanent residence card (issued for an indefinite period). In cases involving the acquisition of Polish citizenship, you will obtain full Polish citizenship along with the right to apply for a Polish passport.
If you are applying for EU long-term resident status or the so-called “Blue Card,” you will be issued the appropriate residence card, which grants extended rights to live and work not only in Poland but also across other European Union member states.
We also assist with obtaining a PESEL number, registering your place of residence (meldunek), and providing support with formalities at the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) or the Tax Office.
In addition to legalization services, we offer a wide range of legal and administrative support. This includes certified sworn translations, notarial deeds, vehicle registration, transfer of vehicle ownership, preparation of powers of attorney, court-issued certificates, extracts from official registers, and retrieval of archived or legal documents.
We also handle company formation and provide ongoing corporate legal support, assist with obtaining tax identification numbers (NIP), business registration addresses, and offer all-inclusive relocation packages tailored to entrepreneurs, startups, and IT professionals.
All services are customized to align with the client’s specific goals and circumstances.
Yes, we offer free group consultations in the form of webinars. These sessions are held online approximately once a week and are available through prior registration on our website. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a general understanding of the legalization procedures, ask basic questions, and learn which legalization options may be most suitable for your particular situation.
We also provide a free initial consultation regarding our services. During this session, we perform a basic assessment of your case, determine which legal category you fall under, and recommend an appropriate service. However, this consultation does not include a detailed case analysis, step-by-step instructions, or written legal opinions.
For individuals who require a thorough legal assessment and a tailored solution, we offer a paid consultation. This includes an in-depth case review, a legal strategy, specific recommendations, and, if necessary, ongoing support. If you decide to proceed with our service after this consultation, its cost is deducted from the total service fee — effectively making the consultation free of charge.
The cost of services depends on the specific service selected, the purpose of your stay in Poland (which determines the basis for submitting your documents), as well as the service package you choose.
We have also made an effort to provide approximate pricing on our website, as we are committed to transparent cooperation. Additionally, we offer various discounts, which you can also review on our website.
For more detailed information on this matter, we invite you to leave your contact details or get in touch with us via the phone numbers provided on our website.
We offer our clients flexible and convenient payment terms tailored to various life and financial circumstances. In most cases, payment can be divided into two or three installments. The first installment is due upon signing the agreement and officially initiating the cooperation, while the remaining payments are made within the following month or according to a mutually agreed individual schedule.
For clients experiencing difficult life situations or requesting more complex services, we are open to considering personalized payment plans, including deferred payments or phased financing options.
Each financial arrangement is based on an individual assessment and transparent dialogue with the client. All our services are invoiced with an official VAT invoice at a 23% rate.
We also offer several convenient and modern payment methods: credit or debit card payment, BLIK system, as well as standard online bank transfers.
The duration of a foreigner’s legal stay in Poland depends on the basis of their stay: under the visa-free regime — up to 90 days within a 180-day period; under a national D-type visa — for the period of its validity; and under a residence card — depending on the period stated on the card (usually from 1 to 3 years). However, the key factor is the submission of an application for a residence card, as this determines the foreigner’s new legal status.
Once a complete set of documents has been submitted for the residence card (including the confirmation of application submission with the official stamp from the Voivodeship Office), the foreigner receives a so-called “stamp” in their passport (a temporary residence stamp). This stamp allows them to remain legally in Poland until a decision is issued and the physical residence card is obtained.
It is essential to understand that if your previous documents (visa, visa-free stay, residence permit from another EU country, etc.) have expired and you have submitted an application for a residence card, you are not permitted to leave the territory of Poland until you receive the plastic residence card. Leaving the country under such circumstances cancels your legal stay and may result in a denial of your application.
Therefore, it is absolutely crucial to remain in Poland throughout the entire process in order to maintain your legal status.
Yes, we provide full support for business relocation to Poland — from company registration to comprehensive accounting, HR, and legal services. The financial and accounting aspects are handled by our trusted partner company, with whom we maintain a long-term collaboration and for whose reliability we take full responsibility. All processes are structured end-to-end, fully aligned with Polish regulations and compliance requirements.
In addition, our team offers integrated support for launching and promoting your business. We develop branding, business cards, marketing materials, commercial offers, websites, advertising strategies, and targeted ad campaigns. We also provide consulting on tax optimization, helping clients select the most advantageous tax models and operational frameworks.
The ONE PLUS team includes a licensed tax advisor officially registered in the Polish register of tax consultants. He is legally authorized to provide counsel on tax law, develop individualized tax strategies, and support businesses throughout all stages of their growth and development.
We work with nearly all foreigners who are legally residing in Poland or within the European Union and have valid grounds for the legalization of their stay. The core of our client base consists of citizens from Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, as well as countries in Asia — including India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Vietnam, and the Philippines. We also actively support individuals from Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and other North African nations.
In addition, we have extensive experience assisting clients from Latin American countries such as Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mexico, Uruguay, Paraguay, Haiti, and Cuba. We also receive inquiries from citizens of the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, China, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and many others.
We are not limited by geography — we assist anyone who is legally present in Poland or the EU and requires support with document processing, legalization, business registration, or other legal services.
Provision of a remote service means that we offer the full range of services related to obtaining a residence card, permanent residency, or Polish citizenship throughout the entire territory of Poland, regardless of the region. We work with various Voivodeship Offices and ensure the remote preparation and submission of all necessary documentation.
Correspondence with the Voivodeship Office (Urząd) is conducted via Poczta Polska, and all official letters are sent by post. In most cases, the authorities do not require in-person appointments or direct contact with inspectors. Once the agreement and power of attorney are signed by the client, we initiate the process with the Office through postal communication. We subsequently establish contact with the assigned inspector by phone to ensure the smooth progress of the case and to secure a positive outcome.
The central office of our company, ONE PLUS, is located in the very heart of Wrocław, at Piłsudskiego Street 43 — just a one-minute walk from the Arkady Capitol tram stop and approximately 10 minutes from the main railway station PKP Wrocław Główny. This location makes our office easily accessible both for city residents and for clients arriving from other regions of Poland.
Our operations are not limited to Wrocław. We actively support clients across the entire territory of Poland, working with Voivodeship Offices, municipal institutions, and specialized government bodies in various regions of the country.
In a number of key cities, we have local representatives and dedicated account managers who provide in-person assistance with application submissions, document preparation, visits to government offices (urzędy), and participation in official interviews when required.
