Complaint to the National Labour Inspectorate (PIP)
The company ONE PLUS knows how to influence your employer and ensure that you receive your full salary — without delays, deductions, or tricks. We professionally analyze your employment contract, check the compliance of working conditions with Polish law, assess which legal mechanisms can be applied in your specific case, and provide full support until you receive your rightful money.
We regularly handle cases related to unpaid wages and submit complaints to the National Labour Inspectorate (PIP) every month against unscrupulous employers, temporary agencies, and companies that violate the rights of foreign workers. In most cases, at the stage of the first complaint and the official response from PIP, the employer is forced to engage and settle debts. If this does not happen, we are ready to support you in subsequent instances, up to the labor court and enforcement through a komornik (bailiff).
Employer not paying on time?
Did they reduce your salary? Ignoring your requests for calculation? These are typical labor law violations, and we know how to respond effectively. Regardless of whether you work under umowa zlecenie, umowa o pracę, or through a labor agency — the law protects your interests, and our team will ensure the legal pressure necessary for you to receive what you are owed.
We don’t just submit a complaint to PIP — we substantiate it professionally, prepare the necessary evidence, translate your documents, accompany you to the inspectorate, and continue the case until a real result is achieved. If necessary, we also prepare a court claim, file a lawsuit, and pursue enforcement proceedings.
Do not allow your employer to exploit your lack of knowledge or temporary status in Poland. The law is on your side — and we know how to make it work effectively.
What Can Be Appealed to PIP?
The National Labour Inspectorate (Państwowa Inspekcja Pracy, PIP) considers complaints from workers, including foreigners, regarding the following issues:
Most Common Violations:
- Working without a formal employment contract
- Delay or partial non-payment of wages
- Violations of working time regulations and absence of rest days
- Refusal to grant vacation or sick leave
- Breach of occupational health and safety conditions
- Exceeding allowable working hours
- Avoiding social security contributions (ZUS)
- Allowing work without instruction or medical examination
- Terminating cooperation without proper documentation
- Non-compliance with the labor inspector’s directives
How to Submit a Complaint to PIP?
There are several official ways to submit a complaint:
Via the ePUAP Electronic Platform
This is the most convenient method and requires a Profil Zaufany. The complaint is submitted through the citizen profile.
By Email or Postal Mail
The complaint can be sent to the territorial PIP office at the employer’s registered location. Addresses of all offices are available on the website www.pip.gov.pl.
In Person at the Office
You can submit the complaint in person by visiting the nearest labor inspectorate office.
How to Properly Draft a Complaint?
For a successful review of the complaint, it is important to:
- Clearly describe the essence of the problem (e.g., 2 months salary delay)
- Provide employer details: company name, address
- Attach evidence: contract, correspondence, bank statements
The complaint can be submitted anonymously, but in such cases, the inspectorate may have limited verification options.
Sample Information to Include:
- Full name and residential address of the applicant
- Contact information (phone number, email address)
- Employer details (name, address)
- Description of the violation, dates, circumstances
- Signature (if not submitted anonymously)

What to Do in Case of a Conflict under an “umowa o pracę”?
If you work under an employment contract and have a dispute with your employer, a lawsuit can be filed in the labor court (Sąd pracy). The competence of such courts covers:
- Challenging dismissal
- Restoring pay and working conditions
- Recognition of discrimination or mobbing
- Violations of equal treatment principles
The claim is filed in the district court at the place of work or place of duties.
Important: Civil Law Contracts
If you work under civil contracts (umowa zlecenia, umowa o dzieło), disputes do not fall under the jurisdiction of labor courts. However, even in these cases, we can help protect your interests and secure your salary payment.
